About the event
This is a K-12 USCF Rated event with 2 sections and no prizes. Kids help clean up at the end, learn responsibility, meet new friends in a small, supervised environment, and enjoy a safe drop-off experience. A Tournament Director and 2 coaches will be present to guide them — the fee for non-members covers event costs.
TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
• ALL players MUST have a valid and up-to-date USCF membership in order to participate
• This is a Drop-Off Event so parents must drop-off kids at the tournament site and cannot stay
TIME CONTROL
G/30 (30 minutes each with no delay or increment)
NOTATION
Notation is required for ALL players until either player has 5 minutes left on their clock
(Try your best to notate, even if it is tough!)
SECTIONS
PAWN
U300 (Must have a rating under 300)
KNIGHT
U600 (Must have a rating under 600)
TIME
🕛 Check-in: 1:10–2:00 PM
Round 1: 2:00-3:15 PM
Round 2: 3:15-4:30 PM
Round 3: 4:30-5:45 PM
🏁 Clean Up: 5:45-6:00 PM
