Founder of Brooklyn Chess, I’ve spent years playing and studying chess while teaching students across a wide range of subjects, focusing on building understanding, confidence, and a genuine love for learning.​​​​​​​

Sure! Here's a bit about Brooklyn Chess:
We offer a free trial class so your child can experience our program before signing up.
We run chess classes for kids aged 5 to 15 (with some flexibility).
Each class is 90 minutes long, with an average of 6–8 students.
We have classes for:
Beginners (just learning how the pieces move),
Intermediate (with some experience),
Advanced (around 1000 USCF and higher).
Every student receives a ChessKid Gold Membership to practice at home. We check progress regularly.
We also offer tournament support for students who compete.
Class structure: lesson → puzzles → games—designed for learning, progress, and play!
